FAQ

The things people ask most often. If yours isn't here, just ask.

How do you grade your comics?

We grade to the Overstreet standard — NM, VF, FN, GD, FR, PR. Every copy is assessed under good light. If there's something specific to note (a spine tick, a corner blunt, any kind of staining), it goes in the condition notes. We don't round up.

What does the condition note mean?

It's a plain-English description of whatever distinguishes this particular copy from a generic grade. 'VF' tells you the ballpark. The condition note tells you what you'll actually find when you open the bag.

Do you bag and board everything?

Yes. Every comic ships bagged in a Mylar-D bag with an acid-free backing board. Older or non-standard sizes get a properly fitted bag — we don't improvise.

How do you pack for shipping?

Rigid mailer for single issues and small orders; box with padding for larger orders. Comics don't rattle around. We take packing seriously.

How long does shipping take?

We ship USPS. Most orders land within 3–7 business days. We'll send tracking when your order ships.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet through the shop — but reach out before you order and we can usually work something out.

What if my comic arrives damaged?

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo. We'll make it right — refund or replacement, whichever you'd prefer. We're not interested in arguing about it.

Can I return a comic because I changed my mind?

We don't do buyer's remorse returns — but we also price honestly and describe accurately, so surprises are rare. If something's genuinely wrong with the copy, see the answer above.

I'm looking for a specific issue you don't have. Can you source it?

We're always sourcing. Use the search — if it's not there, we don't have it right now. But we'd genuinely love to know you're looking for it. Email us.

Are you accepting sell-in or trades?

Reach out and let us know what you have. We're selective, but we're always interested in a good collection.

How do I know which variant I'm buying?

The cover variant is listed in the product title and in the details. If you see 'A Cover,' 'B Cover,' 'Cardstock Variant,' etc., that's the specific copy. If you're ever unsure, email us — we'll confirm.
